The Ask

Vienna Beef needed to migrate to a platform that could support their complex vendor and third-party relationships, including Goldbelly and ShipStation. Their primary goal was to automate the purchasing process for vendors, which had up to that point been entirely manual due to the many integrations required to accommodate different vendor platforms.

Finding the Solution

Shero recommended a migration from WooCommerce to BigCommerce Enterprise, chosen for its best-in-market API for businesses with many interconnected programs and its native support for complex syncs between vendors and third parties. BigCommerce Enterprise was the natural fit for Vienna Beef's scale and distribution complexity.

Bringing it to Life

Shero developed a custom app that consolidates all daily orders from across platforms including Amazon and Goldbelly and feeds them into Vienna Beef's ERP system, Deacon, for streamlined tracking. The Shogun app was installed and custom page templates were created to simplify content management across the site. A custom datepicker was added to let vendors choose their preferred delivery date, with two further customizations to load the correct shipping method per vendor and calculate the cheapest delivery option based on the selected date. The site also received a unique branded design and an intuitive dynamic mega menu.
