The Ask

STX tasked Shero with migrating their platform to address high operating and licensing costs, limited scalability and flexibility, and difficulty maintaining and updating CMS and collection pages. They also aimed to modernize the website, enhance the user experience, and integrate new functionalities like improved product displays and seamless ERP integration.

Finding the Solution

Shero identified Shopify as the optimal platform for STX due to its reliability, lower total cost of ownership (TCO), and robust SaaS model, which requires less maintenance compared to Magento. Shopify's continuous release of features to improve UX and conversion rates made it the perfect choice for a growing brand like STX.

Color Swatches on Product Cards: Shopify's default setup displayed swatches as text, which did not align with STX's design needs. Shero developed a custom solution to display color swatches as circles with the correct background color, including dual-colored swatches.

ERP Integration: STX's legacy ERP system required integration via CSV files modified by Xtento. Shero utilized Matrixify to replicate and streamline this process, ensuring smooth data transfer and operational continuity.

Bringing it to Life

Shero executed the project by implementing a redesigned homepage and product detail pages, as well as a "Find a Dealer" feature to enhance functionality. Key customizations included back-in-stock notifications and wishlist integration to improve user engagement. The Instant App page builder allowed STX to create visually striking pages while the multistore feature expanded their reach to new markets. A floating mobile navigation feature was introduced to streamline the user experience.
