The Ask

JustRite Safety Group had four separate Magento Open Source stores for four different brands. Shero's task was to merge them into a single unified site while retaining each brand's independent catalog, merchandising, and fulfillment. The goal was to allow customers to shop multiple brands and check out in a single shared cart.

Finding the Solution

After a deep-dive discovery phase, Shero identified opportunities beyond checkout to improve customer experience across SEO, search, shipping, and more. The solution was a Magento multi-store megasite where each brand keeps its own catalog but shares a single checkout process, allowing one order to contain items from multiple store views combined into a single cart.

Bringing it to Life

Shero executed a smooth data migration, bringing over product, customer, CMS, and blog data from all four individual sites to the megasite without disrupting customer order access during the process. A performance-focused front end was built based on a streamlined design. Key integrations added included Bazaarvoice for reviews and Q&A, Klevu for search, ShipperHQ for shipping rates, and Vertex for taxes. A custom ERP integration and a Breeze module implementation for improved performance were also delivered.

The megasite went live in January 2022. Organic traffic doubled almost immediately after launch and continued to grow steadily over the following six months. Customers can now switch between all four brands in separate tabs while sharing a single cart and checkout, delivering a seamless cross-brand shopping experience.
