Shoptalk Fall moved to Nashville this year, and the questions on the floor had a clear Q4 edge. Beth Shero (CEO & Co-founder, Shero Commerce) recorded three conversations from the show with Adena Morabi, Partner Manager at Shopify, Griffin from Richpanel, and John and Jordan from ShipperHQ.
The themes that came up again and again were unified commerce, customer support automation, and shipping accuracy at checkout, all with Black Friday Cyber Monday only weeks away.

Episode Highlights
Adena pointed to the POS demo station at the Shopify booth, which held a line for most of the show. Her read was that brands usually arrive with one product in mind, whether that is DTC, POS or B2B, and then change their thinking once they see the full picture. Beth added that the old assumption of Shopify as an SMB platform has not survived contact with the brands now launching on POS and running DTC and B2B side by side on one system.
Griffin described Richpanel as an AI native help desk that pulls live chat, email and social into a single inbox, then puts AI agents in front of it so fewer tickets ever reach a human. The company guarantees 50 percent automation within the first 30 days, and Griffin said most customers land well above that. His advice heading into peak was blunt: do not neglect support. Beth made the same point from the agency side, noting how much money brands spend to acquire a customer before a support failure undoes the work.
John and Jordan framed ShipperHQ as the logic engine in the pre-purchase layer, covering dimensional packing, LTL quotes and delivery dates at checkout. The case is margin as much as experience, because rates that match what the merchant is actually billed stop the quiet leak at the bottom of the funnel while keeping conversion intact. With carrier rate increases already announced, that gap matters more this year. ShipperHQ expects 47.5 billion dollars in US revenue over Black Friday Cyber Monday, and pointed merchants to its free eCommerce health check as a last pre-peak sanity test.
The social side of the week held up too, between the Shero bike tour and Richpanel's event at the White Limozeen.
