Introduction /
American Casting & Manufacturing—owner of Seals.com—has offered security seals and related products for more than a century. This long-standing company prides themselves on being a fourth-generation, family-owned business that puts just as much hard work and effort into their top-quality products as they do into the lasting relationships they build with customers. With such distinct items such as tamper-evident security seals, American Casting & Manufacturing knew that their products needed to be easier to find, and displayed on a fast-loading, easy-to-use website that allows customers to efficiently search, customize, and purchase the products they need.
Goals /
Seals.com already existed, but needed a rebuild. The new site would increase user experience, help customers easily find products, and have product pages load faster. From there, we aimed to increase traffic and conversions by boosting SEO.
Approach /
We completely rebuilt the Seals.com product catalog using data from the AC&M team, and leveraged several BigCommerce features, such as price lists and custom fields, to facilitate the display of unique product pages.Then, we utilized customizations to alter the way products are displayed on the category pages. By implementing custom Javascript, we were able to add features to product pages and the shopping cart. From there, we worked with AC&M’s marketing team to optimize SEO data, as a way to drive traffic.
Results /
The Shero team adapted to changes during the project with solutions like the custom Javascript work to accomplish complex requirements, leading to an end result that our team was proud to present and our client was excited to launch.
